Whats up family. How is everyone still good i assume. Well my homesickness is realativley (or however you spell it) gone. Of course i miss you guys but this last week has been so fun. I dont even remember some of it because it went so fast. The spilts with the ZL's was awesome. I was in downtown Waiehu in the center of Maui. Like a 45 minute drive from my Redneck area that i am learing to love. So it was like crazy city life and we talked to everyone. We went tracting in a huge subdivision for like 2 hours and it was crazy hot but we got 4 appointments which is way rare. After that we went and did 3 hours of service in a nasty ladys house cleaning it because she was moving. It was so nasty but funny working with the zls. They are way nice to everyone but so sarcastic to each other so we all get along way good. We went and taught some lessons to a weird house that 4 families lives in that i explained to merc in her letter i sent so ill just leave it at that. After we went to dinner at this house in Hawaiian homes. THe mom was blind and the dad was sweating so bad and there house was the size of my room and the girls. It was so gross. They had 2 dogs and a 100 pound Tourtise, Yes a Full grown huge Tourtise roaming around there kitchen while we were eating. They fed the thing pizza and it was the craziest thing ever. After that a family called to say that they have a family living with them who is homeless that they picked up off the street and they need the gospel in there lives. So we went over and talked with them. Its a single dad with 5 kids and a pregnant NEW girlfriend so he has had a rough life. I had the opportunity to give him a blessing. IT was my first one and i was terrified but i have never felt the spirit so strong in my whole life for someone elses revalation, i thought i was going to pass out and he was crying, some big tough hawaiian guy who would never do that. We gave three blessings that day and even the ZLs said that it was the most spirtual day they have had for a while so it was good to be with them. We got 5 new investagators from that so its crazy. Also one more story. I could write for days but ill keep it at a minumum and just send my journal home so you can read them. So we got a new investagator named Tyler. He is way solid and is so interested in everything we are teaching. It was our second lesson with him and i just felt like i should explain baptism and its importance so when i was done i just invited him to follow christ and be baptized expcecting him to say no but he excepted. My companion and I were so caught off guard we said nothing and I was so excited. my comp is good but he is so awkward and isnt bold with anything. If i learned anything from the mtc it was be bold and so far its working so ya i was so shocked. His baptism is on May 7 so pray for him to be strong. Were going to a store called Maui Built today. There is only one in the world so im excited for that. I will try and find you guys all some cool stuff. The food here is good. My favorite island food so far is called Lau Lau. ITs corn beef stuffed in a tarro leaf and cooked. Its way good. Taro is like a potatoe but no taste, thats why they eat the leaf. Try so find some there i bet you would like it. We have dinner every night with a member and its always good. I wrote Grandpa about some of the things so ask him about some of the fooods i cant even remember them. The money from my card rolls over every month so i should be fine. I have a little more than half left because everything is so expensive but im being wise. I have not gotten your padded envelope yet but you can send packages to my po box. We get them like that all the time. So ya im doing good way better than i thought i would be doing at this time. I rely 100% on the lord and he makes it how it is. I havent prayed this much in my whole life. its crazy. OH yesterday in church i gave a sort of talk thing on the sacrifices everyone makes so it was goood i guess. They told me about it 1 hour before church started so i just basically was winging it. Oh well. Me and elder Siakia get along so good. He is so funny and without him in our house i would probably go nuts. Yes i know all about the chapel. We study in it and stuff. ITs way cool but creepy at night. There is a huge monument there and everything so its a great place to live. Ill write derek as soon as i get it. Well i dont really have anything to tell. Just that this week was good. I love you all and i pray for you all every night. Keep being the best family ever.
