Hey everyone,

Yeah things here are good. We got a lot of work done this week and
taught a lot of people actually. No one really is close to baptism but
its all going good. The Buells are still on for August 6th. Vick (the
dad) actually called me yesterday to see if he could speak at his own
baptism so thats sick. I was very happy when he called. He even bought
a white shirt and tie and wore it to church. It really is amazing to
see people start changing.

My comp is good haha. We get along pretty good and he usually just
vents to me so i feel like im a girl sometimes but if he needs it i
guess i will listen. Its all good. His name is Elder Savage from
Vegas. He is cool just different. He loves star wars and i can see how
someone would want to beat him up but it still shouldnt have happend.
His last comp wasnt sent home because actually Elder Savage started it
haha so yeah my comp is crazy. Oh well i have learned more about my
patriarticle blessing in the last two weeks than i have the whole time
i have had it so thats good.

The other new missionary is doing good. I took him on exchange this
last week and he told me like his whole life. He had his aunt and
uncle die the last week he was in the MTC and his best friend died
last saturday. Thats gotta suck so we just stayed busy and i helped
him get through his fear of tracting, He was terrified. He would shake
at the doors talking to people so i helped him with that because
pincock isnt that much better haha and thats all i feel like i can do
so ya it was good to go with him. He is a cool guy just under a lot of
stress. Total redneck and i like him.

Yeah i remember chase norton. Thats way cool that he did his talk on
that i wish i could have heard it. He is way cool.

Thats awesome about derek, Tell him good work and to keep pressing
forward. Life only gets better haha.

The jeep also sounds sweet. You guys keep saying your going to send me
pics but i never see any, Will you commit to me to send me some
pictures for heavens sakes?

By the way those books you sent are amazing and i love them. I decided
though that i dont need the old testament ones but if you could get me
the book of mormon ones, D&C, Peal of great price, and send me the
isiah one we had i would be in heaven. Just take money out of my
account and go buy them all. I NEED THEM. Oh and see if they have the
ammon tie bar. Elder Katanuma has it and its so sweet so yeah. Thanks
for the last ones though they are cool. No one has the Angel moroni so
its coveted here you could say.

4th of july was awesome we had Brother Akeo come to Pulehu and grill
for us and then the Buells came and 10 missionaries and we had a
barbeque and played football and stuff, and then all the missionaries
slept at our house. I had to share a bed with elder davies which
sucked but i slept suprisingly well. IT was way fun to get everyone
together like that and just relax. Thats why i didnt send letters so
sorry guys.

This week tracting was hilarious, Elder Davies and i went on exchanges
and had a dog chase us through the neighboor hood, had some guy yell
at us and almost shoot us with a staple gun, had another guy yell that
he didnt want to wear my underwear, which i responded i dont want to
give my underwear to you i need them to him. It was the funniest week
ever tracting. We also caught a guy doing drugs who almost killed us.
Great fun haha.

Finally the worst story of the week, Which im not sure if you should
put in the blog or not. Im actually debating sending this home even
but i will because i have never been so scared in my life. So im not
sure if you guys have heared about the like spiritual things that
missionaries go through on there missions, not like good spiritual
things but bad evil things. I had heared them but i never believed it
until friday night. In fact we were even warned multiple times by
president and other missionaries that it happens a lot but i was like
whatever. Apparently hawaii is very spirtual and i happens here more
than most missions so thats so wonderful. But anyway on thursday night
Elder davies came and slept over for our exchange the next day and
savage went to wiluku. We woke up the next morning and davies told me
how aful he slept and he kept hearing sprinklers hitting the house and
he was sweating all night long and i was just like that sucks dude
sorry and didnt think of it. So that night after he went back downt to
town i went to see if we had sprinklers hitting the house but we dont
even have sprinklers in the yard. Hawaii doesnt have them because of
the rain we get so i was like what a weirdo haha. K thats the lead
into the next part. SO we went to bed again and none of us could sleep
so we just talked for a while until i drifted off and i woke up at
like 3 am to my companion screaming and so did elder workman the new
one, so i was tripping out about what was happening. but he just layed
back down so i layed down to but 5 minutes later he sat up again and
started talking and clicking his toungue and stuff and i was freaking
out. he would like get up on his knees and yell and stuff click and
then every ten minutes would lay back down until he did it agian so
needless to say none of slept because we were all terrified. It didnt
feel right and i couldnt wake him up so we just watched for 3 hours as
he did that all night, so the next morning we called president and
told him like he said and he told us what we needed to do so we
rededicated our pad, the chapel and the grounds its on, then gave
savage a blessing and cleaned our place like crazy and its been fine
since but its like the 7th time it has happend where we live
apparently so im still scared but whatever. Gotta trust in the
priesthood elder davies told me haha

So ya i dont mean to scare you guys but thats how my week was haha.
Tell dad to dedicate the house if it hasnt been done. It was amazing
to feel the difference when i blessed it and dedicated it to the lord
again. It was night and day difference.

Ya i love you all. Dont be scared of that part just know it for sure
does happen haha. Keep up the good work
Love you

Elder Allen
